This morning I went to visit my friend the post mistress at our little friendly post office. She knows everybody since she was born and bred in Cromwell and used to be a teacher at the local school. I brought her some of my garden produce, tomatoes, zuchinni, and cucumbers. We usually talk and visit unless there is a customer pops in. Today as usual we were talking, a man age 92 came in and asked her if he left the key to his post-office box. H ehad been looking for his keys for more than a week and wanted to check his mails. Our friendly post mistress took his mails and handed him his mails, and in came another customer, a young lady (in her 50's) and said that who left a bunch of keys hanging on the passenger side of a pick up. Sure enough the pick up beongs to the 92 years old customer who has been looking for his keys for one whole week.
By the way the post mistress is 88 years old. I sure feel young at 59 years old.
